Crèche Museum in Klüsserath

The “Friends of Crèches” in Klüsserath have assembled an extraordinary, diversified exhibit of Christmas nativity scenes for the Crèche Museum.

Here you can enjoy the picturesque representation of the birth of Jesus exhibited over an area of about 3,300 ft² (300 m²) with 90 nativity scenes, all displaying excellent background information.

Located in the magnificent wine landscape of the Central Moselle, the museum offers the visitor an unmatched experience: Christmas nativity scenes of extremely skilled craftsmanship in a pleasant atmosphere overseen by well-trained guides provide an opportunity for delving into the idea of Christmas crèches. The exhibited nativity scenes could not be more varied: on display are nativity scenes worldwide as well as local and historical crèches, even contemporary versions.

Opening hours:
The museum is open year round on weekends (Friday to Sunday) from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Additional opening times are daily expect Monday from November 1 to February 2. Special opening hours for groups (including tour) by prior reservation.
