Igel Column
Burial monument of the cloth merchant family of the Secundinii from around A.D. 250. Tallest Roman burial column north of the Alps, about 23 m (76 ft) high.
The square sandstone column decorated with figures in bas-relief bears witness to the economic prosperity of the Trier countryside during the Roman era. Renovation and preservation 1985-1987.
