Trier Wine Culture Trail

The Wine Culture Trail, 1.2 mi/ 2 km long, on Petrisberg Mountain begins above the Amphitheater. Its 39 stations show “The enlightening and curious about the cultivation and life of the vine.” The Wine Culture Trail ends in the vintners’ quarter of Olewig.

Forest teaching path and Forest house in the White House Forest (Weisshauswald) Trier

The Forest teaching path, about 2.2 mi/ 3.6 km long, near the Weisshauswald game preserve illustrates local native varieties of trees. A permanent exhibition in the Forest house ("Haus des Waldes") is dedicated to the forest.
Opening hours Forest house: 
May - October: every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
November - April: every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Game preserve White House Forest (Weisshauswald) Trier

On view in the game preserve (via Highway B51) are red deer, wild boar, fallow deer, mouflon sheep, and mountain goats as well as various types of pheasant in an aviary.
