Moselle Cycling Trail

You cycle along the Upper Mosel from the “Three Corners” where Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, an area also called the southern Wine Moselle, as far as Trier, Germany’s oldest city.

You continue along the Central Moselle with its characteristic river bends and vineyards. Numerous interesting sites are just waiting to be discovered, the Roman wine ship in Neumagen-Dhron, charming towns and wine villages inviting you to take a break, for example, Bernkastel-Kues with its picturesque half-timbered houses or the art nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach. Medieval castles such as the Reichsburg in Cochem mark the Lower Moselle leg.

One of the most popular long-distance cycling trails in Germany, the Moselle Cycling Trail finally comes to an end at the “Deutsches Eck” in Coblenz.
