The Trierischer Volksfreund offers you the exclusive opportunity to join Trier's prominent Chief Public Prosecutor Eric Samel for a live podcast at the publishing house!
Known from the ZDF television series "Aktenzeichen XY ungelöst" (Case File XY Unsolved), Samel has handled some of the biggest cases at the Trier Regional Court over the years. As a guest on the Volksfreund's True Crime podcast "Spurensuche" (Trace Search), Samel will spend an evening discussing his work as a Chief Public Prosecutor for capital crimes and organized crime.
Which cases have stayed with him? How does he prepare for trials? And why does he like to visit the crime scenes where his cases were committed?
The podcast hosts, Alexander Wittlings and Johanna Heckeley (both from the Trierischer Volksfreund), will discuss these questions and other fascinating topics with him.
Rolf Seydewitz, Chief Reporter at the Trierischer Volksfreund and a regular trial observer, will also be a guest.
Join us live for the recording of this podcast episode on April 22nd. Join us at 7 p.m. in the editorial offices of the Trierischer Volksfreund newspaper.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Admission includes a soft drink.
