The Devil in Trier

After the fall of the Roman Empire, the mystical Middle Ages also began in Trier. A time in which legends became truths and truths became legends, in which faith and superstition were close to each other, but heaven and hell seemed to be far away. But appearances are deceptive. A walk through Trier's city centre reveals that it is here, of all places, that the devil tries to gain control over poor souls.

With a thousand tricks and seductive arts, he wants to take control of the city and lead the pious believers astray. Indeed, he is even involved in the construction of the cathedral. Bessesene nuns, daring crusaders, witchcraft and a mysterious murder of a bishop whisk the audience away to an era full of dark myths and legendary tales. Will they be able to escape the magical power of the Prince of Hell?
