The tour takes you through the history of bathing in the city of Trier from the Romans to the present day. Starting with a tour of the interior of the Imperial Baths, which provide an insight into Roman bathing culture, the tour continues from the former cloth factory 'Tufa' towards Neustraße. The tour then follows the former main Roman water pipeline and continues through the avenue belt, also known as the green lung of the city, to the synagogue. At the next stop, the Babara Baths, you can admire the hypocausts and gain an insight into how the large baths were heated in ancient times. The last section of the tour takes you to the Moselle and the Roman Bridge. Because if you are interested in Trier's water world, Germany's oldest bridge is of course a must-see, before the tour ends at the cranes and with the topic of 'Bathing in the Moselle'.
