Those who love to roll one quiet ball still can enjoy sports. In Trier there are various public squares, which have proven successful for playing boules in conviviality.
Under the plane trees at the Domfreihof, between the two green areas of the Palastgarten, at the Mattheiser Weiher or on the university campus, there are various recreational areas with gravel or compressed soils, which are ideal for boules. Especially in the summer months, there are always groups of boules players gathering together, who are always keen to welcome new fellow players. Just drop in and make the most of the rolling ball!
