The hike starts at the Igel Column (UNESCO World Heritage Site), from there, via the 'Säulengarten im Steinwingert' (home to a selection of plants from Roman times), past the old parish church, then through the forest, you reach the Igel vineyards. Here, accompanied by magnificent views of the Moselle valley, you will learn interesting facts about the natural environment of vineyards and orchards. The hike is designed as a circular route and ends back at the Igeler Säule.
