Historic Pfalzel

This tour enables you to experience Pfalzel’s continuous settlement history from Roman times in the 4th century, during which the Palatiolum imperial palace complex was built, to the modern day. The vast number of historic town houses, the mint, the administrative building, the tithe barn, the remains of the archiepiscopal fortress, and the oldest inhabited Roman building in Germany are all impressive sights.
